The high-end farmhouse project on the outskirts of Jaipur also offers a viable living option in greener and peaceful surroundings to the city elite.
The design has farmhouses in varied configurations of plots and amenities, while being connected to an activity center at its core. The design of the homes and the landscape is minimal and focuses on the outdoor experience of gardens, walks and parks. The project uses indigenous plantation and local building materials adopting them in a contemporary form.
The Club is an oval island set on the banks of an organic lily pond on one end and embedded into lawns at the other. It is partially encircled with a circular earth-bermed games extension area with passively cool spaces for recreation.
Mahima Elanza set out to redefine existing practices and notions of residential apartment design in the city. The core design principle of houses placed around courtyard spaces in vertical towers of stepping form gives the development its unique character. This is also accentuated by large multi-leveled voids in the towers that open up sky views at the lower levels and interconnect the gardens.
