A collective farm house for three families on their neighboring plots of land, the project is designed to be a retreat and a vacation rental property. The brief to be each built to completion in progression over time, the project is designed as a collection of spaces from the three plots to be constructed as primary elements. The eco-friendly project draws inspiration from the vernacular building materials and techniques and uses materials and energy efficient technologies to have a minimal ecological footprint. The site is left mostly to its naturally undulating form and vegetation merging with the open lands surrounding it.

Mahima Elanza set out to redefine existing practices and notions of residential apartment design in the city. The core design principle of houses placed around courtyard spaces in vertical towers of stepping form gives the development its unique character. This is also accentuated by large multi-leveled voids in the towers that open up sky views at the lower levels and interconnect the gardens.
