The Platina is a slim linear towering building striding a substantial frontage on the Gachibowli Miyapur road in Hi-tech City. Designed to fulfil the complete needs of the occupants of a corporate building, it has besides a business center, several retail stores, and a food court with deli, confectionary and a super Mart adjoining its central entry plaza. The building is designed to provide club spaces for play and leisure at the roof level with views overlooking the city.

The signature feature of The Platina is the voluminous void through the center of the building which lends a floating spatial quality to the entry plaza at its feet. This void creates a continuous line of vision through the building while balancing the proportions of an over elongated façade of glass and aluminum. The office tower is visually seamless with its annex which houses a 5-star hotel at its one end.

Platina is a L.E.E.D. Gold certified green building. The long east façade has been designed with high performance glazing and dense horizontal aluminum fins to minimize solar heat gain and glare. The rear west façade facing low rise residential developments has walls and windows opening onto city views.

Mahima Elanza set out to redefine existing practices and notions of residential apartment design in the city. The core design principle of houses placed around courtyard spaces in vertical towers of stepping form gives the development its unique character. This is also accentuated by large multi-leveled voids in the towers that open up sky views at the lower levels and interconnect the gardens.
