Located in the heart of Hyderabad, the site lies along a botanical garden and derives its name from its green surroundings. The natural topography and presence of huge boulders rendering the land almost unsuitable was sculpted under the masterful veteran landscape architect Prof Shaheer. Placing the buildings above the ground level at its highest point, the topographic contours and natural features have been preserved throughout the site by planning the parking podiums and lower Club areas to fill in the hollow spaces beneath the plinth of the towers.
The linear undulating site accommodates over 300 luxury condominiums and sky villas in its six towers and 22 storey. An important unique feature of this project is a 3700 sqm clubhouse with its base wedged at the foot of the towers and another part suspended at high vertical elevation offering recreational spaces with panoramic views of the botanical gardens and the city.
Mahima Elanza set out to redefine existing practices and notions of residential apartment design in the city. The core design principle of houses placed around courtyard spaces in vertical towers of stepping form gives the development its unique character. This is also accentuated by large multi-leveled voids in the towers that open up sky views at the lower levels and interconnect the gardens.
