The school designed in collaboration with Bhartiya Design Team is a refreshing departure from the conventional school designs in the country. The building appears playful and inviting for its young users and is a light footprint on a small sloping site in the expansive Bhartiya City township.

Irregularly shaped like a round-edged square, the school features an atrium design with all the learning spaces arranged informally around it. The atrium, extending the full height of the building brings in natural light and visually connects the spaces at its various levels. A wooden stepped theatre forms at its base connecting common activities of the ground and first levels. A wide circular wooden clad staircase stemming from these base forms the central vertical feature which connects all the upper levels. The multipurpose hall is located at the top floor of the building and opens out to an outdoor terrace with views of the city.

Mahima Elanza set out to redefine existing practices and notions of residential apartment design in the city. The core design principle of houses placed around courtyard spaces in vertical towers of stepping form gives the development its unique character. This is also accentuated by large multi-leveled voids in the towers that open up sky views at the lower levels and interconnect the gardens.
